Gmail Labs open to the Public
Gmail Labs is now open to the public!
Some of you may wonder what heck is Gmail Labs. Well it is essentially a place where Google employee’s develop new applications and features for Gmail, which can be looked over by the public.
Gmail has opened their "Labs" section as an attempt to allow their users to get a feel for the various email applications. Their main focus is to use the general public as their beta testers. After testing the various applications, users will have a chance to submit feedback to the developers of these applications. Based on the feedback they acquire Gmail will either decide to implement these applications or not.
What I am looking forward to, is the day that Gmail might open the development to the public.
I will be sure to keep you guys updated on these Labs, I am definitely looking forward to playing around with the different applications.
